COVIMED SOLAR celebrates this year the 10th anniversary as manufacturer of solar lights, 10 years taking care of the environment, illuminating cities, introducing new technologies, being present in multitude of countries. We want to thank all those people who have contributed that COVIMED SOLAR is a leading company in solar lights manufacturing.

COVIMED SOLAR is committed to improve continuously its products for maximum energy efficiency with minimal environmental impact. That is why the effort of the company has allowed the incorporation of new generation LEDs of high performance in all COVIMED lights. The new LEDs have RoHS and CE certificates.

COVIMED model VILLA P have been installed along more than 4km in Medina del Campo along a bike path. With this installation has been achieved the enhancement of the facility for people enjoyment with no additional cost for Administrations.

COVIMED SOLAR has been the supplier of solar lights model COVIMED 550 that have been installed in Benicarló Graveyard. These lights have been a very useful ítem for lighting the graveyard because it has not been needed electrical supply. So that, solar lights will contribute to reduce energy consumption in the town.

COVIMED SOLAR has been selected as the supplier of Guenyes clycleway lighting, in Basque Country. The model selected has been COVIMED 517, an ecological et sustainable light. Citizens can now enjoy of a space to practice sports and walk along with an efficient lighting.

COVIMED SOLAR has developed new models of solar lights and solar equipments for emergency situations according to its experience in cooperation projects. COVIMED SOLAR has designed a solar Street light (model 300) and solar kits that can suit different necesities (common spaces, latrines, rural schools, wharehouses, rural houses, camp sites…). All ítems are very easy to install and resistant to hard weather conditions.

In the Isla de la Gomera has initiated a lighting plan and coves sites using solar lanterns, the lamp has been selected the model VILLA SOLAR COVIMED company. the efficiency of this light is that they are autonomous, work with sunlight, reduce the power of your lighting at certain hours of the night to observe nocturnal habitats and have high efficiency lighting LEDs. The solar lamps can have light without having to power lines and major works and installation costs, which make COVIMED SOLAR streetlights in a sustainable option for the lighting of landscapes and natural environments.

Model Covimed 560 have being used in sustainable lighting in rural areas of Africa. As an example the installation of some units in a veterinary laboratory in Lubango, Angola.

COVIMED 523 solar streetlights have been installed on the riverside walk in the city of Cartagena, Spain. COVIMED 523 model have been chosen as the most suitable for the project because its design and lighting power.

COVIMED SOLAR has participate in cooperation projects with saharaui population who have received more than 100 lighting kits.

COVIMED SOLAR has developed an autonomous solar kit for lighting pourposes and supply of electrical appliances such as laptop, TV, fans….. Those kits are designed for weekend uses or low consumptions. The biggest advantage of the kits is the easy installation that can be made directly by the owner.
